Wow! The holidays came and went so quickly this year! We stayed very busy spending time with LOTS of family! You had more professional photos taken when you were 4 weeks old. We are still waiting for those photos to be mailed to us, but with the help of cousin Missy we had our own photo shoot! You wore the Christmas outfit grandma Denise made for you.
We went to Auntie Ashley's house to make some Christmas presents for your grandmas. The plan was to paint you and your cousin Abby's feet and then stamp them on cute paper and frame them. It was much harder than we thought it was going to be so we just hung out. While we were there your cousin Abby rolled over for the very first time! It was very cool!
Missy spent all day with us, we went to the mall and finished our Christmas shopping, and you wore a big beautiful purple flower she got you as a Christmas gift. Everyone in Nordstrom loved it! We wore your pink one to get our nails done!
We went continued your daddy's childhod tradion and took you to Oak Glen on Christmas Eve. Itwas really cold so you were bundled up. We walked around the petting zoo, your dad and uncle Trenton caught a fish and we all got treats to snack on at the local store.
We spent Christmas at both grandparents house, and we even got to spend some time with uncle Kendall who was in Germany via Skype! You got lots of cute clothes and toys from your grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Daddy bought you some really nice picture frames, and I got you your first book of Bible stories.
When you were 6 weeks old you started to smile! Once you would smile you'd forget how you did it! You finally got it down when you were 7 weeks old. You also started to play with toys, and really SEE things around you. You also learned how to make noises! Your favorite sound was "whoo" you sounded like a little owl. Your dad and I would say "whoo" and you would say it right back, it was really fun to interact with you on a new level.
We rang in your first New Year out in Glamis (the desert). Grandma and Grandpa Rogers came with us, and we all had a great time! You were going through a big growth spurt so you spent most of the time eating! Its was freezing cold all weekend so we kept you all bundled up and took turns snuggling you!
When we got home we got you a new super posh bathtub- it had a shower head, whirlpool jet, and jacuzzi like bubbles! You loved it! So we bathed you and took you to meet your cousin Andy who was born just 5 days after you! We went walks and his mommy Jamie and i talked and shared stories and tips while you two napped and dreamed <3
Just this last month you've grown so much, your dad and I love watching your mind work.We are so excited to see you develope more and more.
